  Overall

Unlike Ghost Recon, Socom manages to keep the missions streaming with arcade-like action instead of the slower, more tactical strategies. Depending on your preference for “war” will depend ultimately on how much Socom appeals to you. The multiplayer is abundant, and the minor weapon customization is a big plus. But even if the single-player teammates get annoying, the multiplayer online mode just might make this the perfect fall season title for your PS2.

  Sweet to the Core
Extras. Plenty of options and extras for high replay values

Team commands. Lots of commands to issue teammates

Multiplayer. 32 Players should be the standard for all MP games!

Mission objectives. Objectives kept the game fun and intuitive

Badges. Lots of stuff to earn and unlock

  Going Bad
Night vision. Zooming and night vision can't be together

No splitscreen. Not necessary, but could have been very fun

G.I. Joe dialogue . It wasn’t bad, it was just goofy

  Rotten to the Core
Graphics. It’ll hurt your eyes sometimes

A.I.. Enemies and allies act stupid, a lot

Choppy animations. Things moved very clippy at times
