As for the stages, they appear to be very diverse and varied, ranging from linear city streets to journeys all the way into space. JLH also allows a second player to jump in at any time during the single player campaign, no matter what stage or character is selected. In a single-player game, players will use the D-pad to switch between two selected superheroes. Sadly, the game doesn’t appear to be supporting any sort of online multiplayer features. And while it won’t feature the four-player support like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, players will have a greater range of character customization. That’s not to mention that Snowblind Studios really wanted to focus on the battles players will have with enemies, so some greater gameplay depth was the sacrifice for online and 4-player simultaneous play—not a bad deal. Each hero will have very specific visual effects that really bring them to life on screen.

The PSP version will even get a couple of extra hidden goodies, some of which include extra characters and eight additional levels. If you’re a comic fan looking for your favorite DC characters in action (created by the renowned Snowblind Studios, no less) be sure to check out Justice League Heroes this October for the Playstation 2, Xbox, and PSP.
